THE COACH HOUSE
A beautifully renovated 19th century stone building on two floors. The modern open-plan living space has an exceptional view across the valley towards the forest. It sleeps up to three people in one bedroom with additional space for a travel cot, and would suit a couple or young family. Fully equipped with TV, broadband, wood burner and private terrace. Dogs welcomed.
THE MEADOW
The Coach House is set in one and a half acres of meadow and garden, which is shared by all our guests. The area is safely enclosed, tranquil and bursting with nature in all its forms.

Walking, cycling, kayaking or just breathing in the healing forest air – Saltbox Escapes is ideally placed to enjoy the many activities the area offers. We are a walk or a short drive away from the famous Symonds Yat, with its breathtaking vistas, and the banks of the River Wye, where swimming and canoeing are summer favourites! Find out more
THE SALTBOX
The main house is rich in history. Back in the 17th century, it was the village pub – The White Hart Inn. An extra floor and Georgian frontage were added in the 1800s, giving it the distinctive roof profile which earned it the local nickname of "The Saltbox". Why? The present owners moved here in 2018, and we have fallen in love with this special place, which we enjoy sharing with others.
